Gold, Silver Prices Higher; Bullion Eagles Advance

Gold prices closed 0.9% higher Tuesday after having fallen 2.5% in the previous session. The December futures contract added $16.80 to $1,830.10 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, trading between $1,794.80 an ounce and $1,838.90 an ounce.

Gold Prices Gain, Bullion Coins Again Unchanged

Gold prices rose Thursday for the first time in two sessions. The December futures contract added $39.90, or 2.2%, to $1,857.50 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Gold prices traded at an intraday low of $1,816.20 an ounce and hit a high of $1,868.70 an ounce.

After two straight days of gains, gold prices closed lower in New York on Thursday. December futures fell $2.60, or 0.1%, to $1,829.10 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Gold prices hit an intraday low at $1,815.50 an ounce. The high reached $1,833.60 an ounce.
