Gold, Silver Prices Rebound, Bullion US Coins Flat

Gold rebounded Wednesday to reclaim nearly three-quarters of the previous day’s $22.20 loss. Gold prices for August delivery added $14.70, or 0.9%, to┬áhit $1,565.70 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Gold Prices Log Weekly Loss, US Bullion Coins Mark Strong Sales

Gold prices advanced for a second session Friday but gains were insufficient to pull them into the black for the week. Other precious metals followed suit on the day and week. Across those metals, weekly New York futures losses included 1.4% for gold, 1.1% for silver, 2.3% for palladium and 2.2% for platinum.

Gold and Silver Prices Rebound, American Bullion Coins Higher

Gold and silver prices rebounded Thursday, their first increases in four sessions. Gold prices for June delivery added $9.10, or 0.6%, to $1,557.50 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Gold prices on the day traded between $1,551 an ounce and $1,577.70 an ounce.

Gold Prices Retreat, Bullion US Coins Unchanged

Gold prices declined for a second consecutive session Tuesday as commodities in general were pressured by a firmer dollar and riskier investor appetite. On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold prices for June delivery lost $12.10, or 0.8%, to settle at $1,576.60 an ounce.

Gold prices moved lower Friday which added to the yellow metal’s weekly loss. Strength in the greenback was a main deterrent to gold and other precious metals this week, and is expected to control prices next week.
